Born and raised in the heart of the district, and a proud 1989 graduate of Cheatham County Central High School, Perry Keenan has dedicated his life to serving his community. Through years of volunteer work with local church organizations, leading disaster cleanup efforts following the devastating floods of 2010 and the December 2021 tornadoes in Dickson and Kingston Springs, Keenan has consistently stepped up when his neighbors needed him most. His commitment to service reflects a deep-rooted passion for the people and values of this community. He and his family live in Ashland City, TN.
A THRIVING CAREER
As an elected leader, Perry Keenan has a proven record of service to Cheatham County. He served as a Pleasant View Alderman and Vice Mayor from 2004 to 2008, Mayor from 2012 to 2020, and Chair of the Cheatham County Republican Party from April 2023 to December 2025. In recent years, Keenan has continued serving his community as an independent insurance agent and small business owner, working hard, creating opportunity, and investing regionally through residential home revitalization.
